A New Year, A New Post

A new year, a new time.

Yes, Grog is alive.

I’m alive and well in Washington, but I have been having trouble actually putting together thoughts for the entry.

Blech. No excuse. I was just lazy.

So I’m living in this little town called Coupeville in the middle of this little island in Washington STATE.

Yes, the STATE. Not the District of Columbia.

I never realized how picky I am over names until people actually started misunderstanding where I moved to.

So, Island life is okay. It’s not beaches and palm trees, more like rocks and trees that are bent over half the time because the wind and rain blow so hard.

I love it. Absolutely love it.

Why couldn’t I have moved here years ago? Why couldn’t I have discovered this little piece of paradise on the United States years ago?

WHY DID I SUFFER IN GEORGIA FOR SO LONG?!

*ahem*

Washington has been the best place I have ever visited in all my travels. Yeah, not very much, but I adored Scotland, and loving Washington better than that is a high compliment in my regard.

Probably because the weather is pretty much the same.

Anyway, I’m sitting in a coffee shop right now, taking down these thoughts because the wind was so hard last night, it knocked the power out. If the power hasn’t returned by the time I get home, I’ll have to get some ice for the freezer. Which I think I’ll do anyway.

Okay, I’ll post a little more later.

Sounds awesome. I love rainy weather, it feels exhilarating; always makes me want to write. Say, have you read New Moon? I wonder if you're anywhere near Forks?

Glad to hear your life is going well! All the best!

It is a pity, that now I can not express - I am late for a meeting. But I will return - I will necessarily write that I think on this question.
