It's 11:36. Possible Gunshots Outside Dorm

I'm at Gordon College right now, where possible gunshots have gone off. I was sitting at my computer, when all of a sudden, what sounded like firecrackers went off. I thought it was some kid pranking, but, when I went out to the hall to find out what was going on, the R.D. said to get inside the room and turn off the lights.

We're on lockdown right now. No one goes out. There are police cars everywhere, trying to figure out what the noises were. I mean, these pops went off in quick succession. It was really, really freaky.

There was a bunch of screaming outside as well, and when I looked out the window, I saw a bunch of kids running back inside the dorms. I'm on the second floor, so I got a pretty good view of everything.

Kathryn, my roommate, said that there should be some explanations tomorrow about what happened. I'll update and tell what happened. I hope that it was just firecrackers.

EDIT 12:04pm:

The R.D. just came in and told us it was a gun that went off. She was checking to see if we were okay. The police are still going around the parking lot looking for a gun or something. They taped off a section of the parking lot--can't really see what they were puttin in the evidence bags, but it could have been shells or something.
