Busy, Busy, Busy...

College Move-In Day is coming up FAST. I just got done packing a majority of my stuff, with the exception of my entertainment box. (movies, ect)

I'll be moving in on August the 10th. I met the person I'll be living with for the next year or so on Monday. Her name's Kathryn. Very nice. And if she reads this, then I say hi to her. Anyway, I was so glad when I met her, because it was a HUGE load off my mind.

Oh, I have exciting news! First off, my dad got re-invited to Dragon*Con again, so I won't have to pay to get in. A close shave. whew. I was scared I would have to pay myself. lol. My friend Corey and I are going together. I drive, and he pays for gas. Not a bad deal if I do say so myself. I'm going as Sai (you've seen my pics--gotta update 'em, though). Just bought the material for the hat. This is a costume that is going to be worked on until the last minute, I think.

And my next exciting news--I don't have to pay for Anime Weekend Atlanta eithe! WOO-HOO! Lucky me! I wasn't even planning to go, but then I got contacted by the gaming director. He found out I played Go, and he's offering me a free Staff Badge if I'll teach Go for a minimum of 8 hours (over three days). I'm going to the Staff Meeting on Sunday to get the details. I looked online, and I'll get a free table, free admission, and hotel reimbursments. Not a bad deal. :D

So, if you're in AWA (Sept 21-23) look me up at the Go table, and I'll teach ya. Free. :D

Mom's...somewhere right now. I forget where she traveled to. Dad just came back from the San Diego Comic-Con. I got the coolest shirt. It says "May have been the losing side, still not convinced it was the wrong one: Browncoat". Really awesome.

I got my DVDs of Early Edition, TV show about a guy who gets tomorrow's newspaper today. Really interesting. He goes around changing bad events so people don't die or get hurt. Kyle Chandler plays the main dude, Gary. Look it up--it's cool.

Anyway, I'm gonna sign off for now. Cya later, either at AWA or Dragon*Con.
