Our Wonderful Teachers

Today has been an interesting day so far.

I'm in Yearbook right now, but we can't do anything yet until these computers get a serious update. So, I decided to take this time to post. Just came from American Government/Civics, and discovered something I probably should have known. We actually have three branches of government. *ahem* Yeah...

Well, it all started when our teacher wrote down our homework assignment for last night. Our assignment was to write down the four branches of government and their functions. After spending twenty minutes looking for the fourth, I asked my dad what it was. After getting a strange look from him, he told me there were only three. I immediately called my friend, Erin, and asked if I had wrote the assignment down right. She confirmed that we were to find four. I then told her she would have a problem with that, considering there were only three.

The next day (today), we all confronted the teacher (which is a substitute, by the way). She said that she was only writing down what our main teacher said to do. That makes me nervous. Our teacher--not the substitute--made this mistake. She is supposed to be teaching Government, right?

Oh, almost forgot. Our English teacher is a Fascist dictator. No, seriously, that's what he calls himself. He looks like a hippie to me. He's got this shoulder length hair with a goatee. He doesn't look anything like a teacher. For all of you who've read GTO, he's like Onizuka. He is funny, though, putting aside the fact that he threw a stool at a student (and actually hit him), and threw another student out of his desk while tipping the desk over. Totally erratic.
