Okay, I totally re-did my shirt for my costume for Anime Weekend Atlanta (I'm going this Saturday), and it looks GREAT now. I'm going by the original Link design from the first Zelda, with the orange sleeves, but I'm only doing it on one arm for the modern aspect. It looks a little more "skater/modern" now as well. I've also added some little cords from the sleeves--it's coming along great.Also, who knew that a Hannah Montana wig would actually have some use?
First off, I hate Hannah Montana. She sings okay, but not good enough to have her face plastered on everything in sight. Blech.
Anyway, one of her wigs went on sale at Wal-Mart. I noticed this while I was stocking them (I work night shift). So, I grabbed one up, went home, mutilated it, and made a great Link wig out of it. Not bad for 5 bucks.
I really wish I had a camera...I might just buy one for real cheap tonight. I'm tired of explaining everything when I could just show it.
