Well, I've taken up the task of finding a restaurant for the 3rd Alpha Company Dinner (ACD) for the 76th Independent Battalion. The 2nd ACD is on October the 27th, and I'm also going to that. Lt. Alexander is going to pick me up, since it's on his way.
I'm torn with some choices for the 3rd ACD.
Since this is a fun, casual (civilian attire), get-together thing, I was looking for "nice" and "cheap" and "fun" all at one place. Here's what I've gathered. I need some help with choosing, though. Or if you want to suggest another place in or around Stockbridge, that would be great.
Up the Creek (McDonough)-- Seafood, and my favorite place to get it too. They have cheaper prices, but still a nice setting. Might be a bit small, though.
Ryan's (Stockbridge)-- Good food, and cheap, but I'm not sure I like the atmosphere. Buffet style.
Yumi's Japanese (Jonesborough rd.)-- I hope it's open by January. Japanese food.

I think your best bet would be Up the Creek, Yumi's Japanese is most likely going to be on the pricey side. How many people is it?
