Muahahaha, I FINALLY found the video camera charger. I had the video camera, but I couldn't find the blasted battery charger. I finally found it in the most obvious place, and then felt rather stupid. Oh well. I wasn't the one who "misplaced" it, BTW. *coughMOMcough*
(My mother reads my blog for all of you who don't know.) *waves to mom*
Anyway, I've been writing a book for about three years now. Yeah. Three. It's almost depressing, but it's getting close to sending it in to an editor. I have no idea how to format a manuscript, or how to send it in for someone to edit it, but I want to try. I've always wanted to publish a book.
I call it The Soldier. I'm planning a trilogy, and I'm already starting on The Soldier's Way, book two. If you want to read the draft, go here: http://www.fictionpress.com/s/2299320/1/
I'm not going to put all the chapters up on there, and after I send in the manuscript, I shall take it down, for fear of someone claiming it. Anyway, it's just the rough draft online anyway.
It's rather funny, though, because for book I, I have about 3 different plots that I chose from, reworking each of them until I was able to stitch them together into one massive, glorious plot. In book II, I've got two main plots I'm torn between. I shan't say anything more, because that would ruin the story, but I will say this: It's a mind-bending plot. I have time travel.
Time travel is always fun to write. And by fun I mean annoying. I have an entire seperate file to keep track of everything. I have a file for all the names of my cities, where they are located, and I'm hoping to get my Dad to draw a map for me. I've got the 'crayon map' going on right now, but I want a quality map...like the ones in Lord of the Rings.
Anyway, I'm excited about this summer, too, because me and some friends are getting together and doing the last hurrah before college. Since I now have the video camera back in my posession, we're going to do some skits on video games. You know, Metal Gear Solid, Legend of Zelda, stuff like that. Check out Mega 64 on Youtube to get an accurate idea of what we're going to do. We're doing it just for the reactions.
College is coming up soon, as well as a couple of school projects, so I'd better get off now. I'll update later on in the week.
