Smart...

Wow.

Never thought I'd see a smart robber.

Due to Sony's idiotic directors (what else is new?), the PS3 has shortages. Many, many shortages. In fact, they only released 400,000 in the United States alone. Japan only got 100,000 units from an article I read in Electronic Gaming Monthly (EGM). Thank God I hate PlayStation.

Anyway, in Connecticuit, there were people standing in line (because today is the launch day), and some dude walks up and robs everyone in line. He's smart too. He's probably been waiting this entire week just to do this. He knows that each person has AT LEAST $600 bucks on 'em. More if they want to get a game and extra controller. I didn't hear if he made off with anything, but I thought I would share that tidbit of news with you.

Hilarious. It really is. Rather ironic, too, if you think about it. Here these people are, standing in line to get a rare PS3, and someone takes all your money. I have only one thing to say.

Should have waited for the Wii.

I'm getting my Wii and my Zelda on Launch Day. L-Day is November 19th. Two days. Two days. Two more days. I'm going to church, then to harp practice. And during that, my dad is going to get my Wii and my Zelda.

I made him promise to not open the box, though. It might bond with him and not me. It's like a baby gosling. Whatever they see first, is the one they bond with. So if my Wii sees dad first, it might like him more than me. And I don't want that. You might laugh at me, but I have a solid case for this. My dad had a car that hated him. My mom was the only one that could crank that car. My dad had to call my mom from his work one day and get her to crank the car, because he accidentaly turned it off. It cranked on the first time for her. So, you see why I'm cautious about things like this.

EDIT:

Here's some more PS3 news for you happy people out there:

The first owner of a new PlayStation 3 coming out of the Best Buy store in Huntington Station Friday morning didn't know how long he was going to own his new electronic gizmo."I'm going to see how much I can get for it," Christopher Thompson, 23, of Brentwood, said as he left the store in the Walt Whitman Shopping Center.

He had been the third person on line outside the store, which opened at 8 a.m., but was the first to emerge with the $600 electronic device in hand.Alex Hsieh, 16, of Huntington got the last one. He said he hoped to sell it online for as much as $3,000.
